In Bonaire, a New Kind of Dutch Caribbean Vacation

The event kicks off with an opening celebration by Rum Papiamento at Rum Runners that is adopted on June 15 by a rum-on-the-beach tasting at the Plaza Seaside Vacation resort and a cocktail competitors at Tiki & Co.

June 16 sees a rum lunch geared up by the Harbour Village Beach front Club’s gifted Chef Britt Thomassen, adopted by a Content Hour at Buddy Dive by the celebrated Clifton Estate Rum from Nevis. 

On the morning of June 17 at Delfins, there is a rum tasting seminar for local bartenders and then there is the social gathering piece: a final Bonaire Rum Week meal at the Brass Boer, the Caribbean outpost of the 3-Michelin-star culinary group of Johnny and Therese Boer, adopted by Papa’s Pilar’s rum-and-cigar pairing evening at the Delfins Seaside Vacation resort.
