The Belgian structure studio WeWantMore has turned the Château de Vignée in the Ardennes into an aesthetically exciting boutique hotel. The Château de Vignée is found in the Belgian Ardennes and is surrounded by open meadows and dense forests. Deeply rooted in the area, it acted as a assembly area for hunters for centuries. The former looking lodge has now been transformed into a boutique hotel and the design group uncovered a particular way to reinterpret the rustic appeal of a residence that was designed in 1658. The premises are wealthy in detail, their style now influenced as substantially by the austere magnificence of encompassing nature as by their extravagant, 19th century inheritance. The chosen components, lighting ideas and colour strategies choose considerably of their inspiration from the encompassing landscape – whilst playfully organized stuffed animals evoke the Château’s record with a twinkle in the eye.

Together with extensively refurbished and restored rooms, the constructing boasts a bar and lounge, a significant-course restaurant and a spa location. The roomy loos in the junior suites are characterised by marble and whitewashed plaster walls. The undermount basins of the Alape Metaphor collection fit seamlessly into the inside structure. Their decreased, linear form generates an ambiance of clarity and framework. Metaphor is complemented congenially by the Dornbracht vintage Tara. Anthracite coloured marble was the predominant influence in the bathrooms of the top-quality rooms. The counter-major basins on the washstands appear from the Alape Unisono sequence. Glazed steel, with its non-porous and immaculate complete in a product that is only 3 mm thick, sets a really ornamental and delicate tone listed here. The circular condition of the basin also harmonises stylishly with the similarly round design mirror. The Black matt finishes of the Alape basins and Dornbracht’s classic Tara fitting exert a calming result in mix with the delicate shade of the marble – and carry a sense of intimacy and elegance to the interior of the room.
